Job knew that he was not hiding sin despite how it appeared. His frienemy, part friend part enemy truthfully stated that God does not twist justice. Bildad stated a truth and somehow drew a wrong conclusion. Things were not as they appeared. It was not because of Job’s sins that God had permitted this calamity; it was become of Job’s righteousness.
